A Pregnant Lady and Her Husband

Despite telling Ryan Seacrest that they planned to honeymoon in their basement, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson headed off to Turks and Caicos for a quick post-wedding holiday.

The couple, who were married on Saturday at Simpson’s parents home in Encino, CA, spent their first night as husband and wife in a safari tent on the property before leaving for their honeymoon.

The day after the wedding, Wentz told People, “We are going to a very, very, very, very private island so that the paparazzi can’t follow us.”

Since when is Turks and Caicos a “very, very private” island? Sorry to burst your bubble, Pete, but it’s not exactly Mustique.
