The actress’ dad MICHAEL Lohan yesterday

fuelled speculation that Lindsay and Sam

were far more than just good friends,

insisting their romance

“is evident to anyone with half a brain”.

The girls have been spotted canoodling

in public on numerous occasions,

and reports have recently surfaced

that they plan to marry in a civil ceremony.

But Lindsay and Sam kept their distance yesterday

and did little to demonstrate the rumoured

sexual attraction between them.

Then again,

if they were eager to quash such speculation,

would they have ventured out together in the first place?
