Tatum O’Neal Busted For Cocaine And Crack Possession
Troubled Oscar-winning actress Tatum O’Neal, who has spoken and written about her years-long battle with addiction, was arrested last night just blocks from her Lower East Side luxury apartment, and charged with buying cocaine and crack.

Tatum O’Neal is the daughter of Ryan O’Neal, and ex-wife of John McEnroe.  Tatum was also the youngest-ever actress to snag an Oscar, at age 10, for her role in “Paper Moon.”  She was also in the original Bad News Bears.  That was a great movie!

O’Neal, who has three grown kids with tennis bad-boy John McEnroe, wrote in her 2004 memoir “A Paper Life” that boozing and drug-taking was in her DNA.  Mom/actress Joanna Moore was an alcoholic and hooked on amphetamines while raising Tatum and Griffin, her brother.

Tatum went to rehab in 1996, and claimed to be clean.  She recently played alcoholic shrew Maggie, sister of Denis Leary’s firefighter Tommy Gavin on “Rescue Me.”
