The show does take some creative license, making it appear that Tweed tricks Simmons into doing it: He acts surprised when he finds himself in the Beverly Hills offices of Dr. Frank Ryan - and hears that the procedures will run over $40,000 each. (Actually, Dr. Ryan hints that the surgery was gratis.)Ugh. I can't stand Gene Simmons. He's so fakey-fake and gross. I met him once when he came in for a meeting with one of the TV executives where I worked (probably trying to sell this show) and even though he looks like a troll with a bad dye job, ol' boy STILL thought he was working it. That is, until he kept flirting with one of the girls who clearly had no idea who he was and very politely avoided his sad attempts at charm.
