And I thought showing up to the prom in the same dress as my arch rival senior year was mortifying…One of our Star Bloggers, lovebscott, brings us news on the faux pas of all faux pas. I am quite sure personal stylists' heads are rolling after this fashion folly…
Sarah Jessica Parker looked stunning in her strapless Nina Ricci gown by designer Olivier Theyskens when she attended the New York premiere of Sex and the City: The Movie, but she wasn’t the only one to sport the gown. She was lead to believe that the gown ONLY appeared in magazine shoots (Lindsay Lohan in Harper's Bazaara); however, that was far from the truth. Lauren Santo Domingo wore the same gown with the designer on May 5th to the Met.
"Look, my affection for the dress hasn't changed," she said. "But what they did was so short-sighted. It's just unethical and disappointing that they would allow the dress to be worn again.
“[The designer] didn’t say, ‘Well, actually I just escorted Lauren down the red carpet at the Met,’” said Parker, adding, “I just wi had been handled differently and they had been straight about it.”
I know that Sarah Jessica Parker is extremely heated. I would be especially if I was contractually bound and was told that the dress only appeared in a magazine. Who wore the gown better?
