John Ritter’s portrait has been added to the ‘Portrait of Hollywood’ mural at Hollywood High School in CA. His widow actress Amy Yasbeck, Jimmy Kimmel, and muralist Eloy Torrez were in attendance at the dedication ceremony on Friday.
Ritter passed away on Sept 11, 2003 at age 54 after he was rushed from the set of the ABC series “8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter” to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, after suffering from aortic dissection.
