Wes Bentley plays a writer who goes on a downward spiral when his father dies, causing his assistant (played by Katharine) to start investigating if the muse and narrator of his stories (played by Anita Briem) is really a haunting figment of his imagination.
Bentley and McPhee's involvement in the film had been speculated for several months, but production and filming is now expected to begin in August. Katharine will get her first big screen break with a supporting role in the late-summer comedy "The House Bunny" -- opening in August. McPhee is repped by CAA and Untitled
