Pete Wentz doesn’t want any surprises when his new wife, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, gives birth in October. “I’d like to know the sex of the baby,” he told In Touch at Op’s “Open Road” campaign celebration on June 3. “It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!” The 29-year-old Fall Out Boy bassist also confided that Ashlee’s doing well, despite the recent postponement of her summer tour. “I think any pregnant woman knows it’s a lot of stress on your body, but she’s really healthy and handling it like a champ,” said Pete, who’s clearly thrilled as the newlyweds settle in to their new home. “It’s ours together — that’s the beautiful thing about marriage,” he gushed. So how big a brood are they planning? “I want either a band or a football team or a good geometry club,” Pete joked. Ashlee, 23, and Pete dated for two years before they got married in mid-May. source
