Miley Cyrus Banned From "Sex and the City" Movie

Does anyone else get the sense that Miley Cyrus's parents don't exactly have a consistent sense of what is "appropriate" for teenaged consumption? Sure, she was allowed to pose in Vanity Fair, wearing only a sheet but apparently, the fictional "Sex and the City" movie would be to risqué, according to her mom. Miley Cyrus is reportedly begging her mom to go with her to the R-rated Sex and the City movie, since she’s too young to go herself!

 

In Touch reports that Miley is a huge fan of the show, although she’s only been able to watch the censored version on TV. “She really wants to see the movie, though, and since a non-censored version isn’t available yet, she’s pleading with her mom to make an exception.”

 

Miley has even compared Hannah Montana to Sex and the City saying that “the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters - that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”
