Jen Aniston and John Mayer went to their first public event together Thursday night. They joined Courteney Cox and David Arquette — who celebrated their nine-year anniversary that night — at a humanitarian event at L.A. steakhouse STK.

A witness tells Usmagazine.com that Aniston and Mayer “had their arms around each other. She was rubbing his back and whispering into his ear. They were touching each other non-stop all night.”

Aniston and Mayer have been heating up ever since news broke of their relationship in April. Mayer recently joined Aniston at one of Cox’s weekly BBQs at her Malibu home. Of his romance with Aniston, 39, Mayer, 30, has said, “This is not a scandal, this is not an issue, this is not a problem, this needs no spin control. This is me living my life.” She also recently brought Mayer to a Marley & Me cast party in Miami, where they held hands and kissed.

Fake-Fake-Fake. They are trying to hard to make the media believe this game. Those two are running scared. The pictures they rush to the internet yesterday, Mayer looked so horrible. Like the publicity stunt was making him ill.
