The Associated Press released a report this morning that HILLARY CLINTON "will concede Tuesday night that BARACK OBAMA has the delegates to secure the Democratic nomination...effectively ending her bid to be the nation's first female president."

The AP report was picked up by newscasts from coast-to-coast, prompting shows like "The View" to interrupt their broadcasts with this "breaking story."

The only problem? According to Clinton herself, the story isn't true. Clinton's camp corrected the inaccurate report immediately with the following statement:

"The AP story is incorrect," Clinton's camp tells "The Insider." "Senator Clinton will not concede the nomination this evening."

Clinton claimed a 2-to-1 victory in Puerto Rico on Sunday in the primary and plans to continue her historic bid for the White House.

When contacted for comment, media relations told us: "The AP stands by its story. The story and its headline ('Clinton set to concede delegate race to Obama') make clear that Senator Clinton will acknowledge that Senator Obama has the number of delegates he needs."
