More news from the Universal Studios fire...

"The Insider" has learned that the fire that raged at Universal Studios most of Sunday and destroyed some of Hollywood's most familiar backdrops only did minor damage to JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT's series the "Ghost Whisperer."

A rep for the CBS show told "The Insider" in a statement Monday: "In regards to the unfortunate fire that took place this weekend on the Universal back lot, we would like to thank those emergency responders who so bravely and effectively handled the situation. Despite damage to some of the exterior 'Ghost Whisperer' sets, we plan to begin production for Season 4 on time, so that the show can premiere as scheduled this fall. Everyone at 'Ghost Whisperer' thanks you for your concern and support."

"There has been damage to some secondary exterior locations but production will continue as scheduled," a studio rep told "The Insider" earlier. "They are already up and running and the first day of shooting is June 11."

"Ghost Whisperer," which airs Friday nights at 8 p.m. on CBS, will be returning for its fourth season this fall.
