Shania Twain's Assistant Denies She's 'Other Woman'

SHANIA TWAIN's friend and longtime assistant is denying reports that she had an affair with the singer's husband, music producer ROBERT "MUTT" LANGE, People reports. 

"You cannot believe everything you read in the press," the assistant, Marie-Anne Thiébaud, told the magazine. When asked directly if she had an affair with Twain's husband, she replied, "No."

Thiébaud began working for the Twains after the couple moved to Switzerland in 2000, acting as their personal assistant, secretary and manager of their vast property.

Lange has also denied the alleged affair, saying it was "absolutely not the reason" for his surprise split with Shania after 14 years of marriage.
