Shania Twain's Assistant Denies She's 'Other Woman'

Her husband is speaking out about their announced break-up.

ROBERT "Mutt" LANGE, SHANIA TWAIN's hubby of 14 years, is calling their split "unfortunate," People reports.

"It's just an unfortunate thing that's happened," Lange tells the mag. "It's literally just a growing apart, that's all."

And a source close to Shania tells People: "She's devastated. … She's getting through it with a very close-knit group of family and friends."

Lange and Shania's break-up was announced on Tuesday. The couple have one son together, EJA D'ANGELO.
