Don't let KID ROCK fool you. The hard partying rocker has a heart of gold.

While in Florida over the weekend for scheduled shows in Orlando and Tampa, he learned through the Orlando Sentinel that an Oviedo Boy Scout troop had been robbed of a $5,600 trailer, which they had saved up for seven years to buy, plus it's contents -- about $4,000 in camping equipment.

The robbery reportedly jeopardized a summer camping trip to Tennessee.

"I will cut them a check for the difference and hopefully will allow the boys to make their trip," Kid Rock told the Orlando Sentinel in an e-mail.
