Tiger Woods Gets To Celebrate His Win With His Daughter Sam

Tiger Woods got a cuddle in with his daughter, Sam Alexis, at the US Open in sudden death today. Also with Tiger was his wife, Elin.

Tiger credits Sam with helping him recover from his knee surgery…

“There’s no way I could have gotten through this without Sam being there,” Woods said. “Spending that much time off and away from training and trying to get better, Sam was absolutely incredible, and I had so much fun doing that. It took my mind away from the fact that I had a surgery done, and just watching her grow, walking, running now, it’s been just the greatest thing in the world.”

And yesterday Tiger was thinking of his Dad who passed away in 2006 by saying…

“My father had always called me Sam since the day I was born,” Tiger said in an interview last year. “He rarely ever called me Tiger. I would ask him, ‘Why don’t you ever call me Tiger?’ He says, ‘Well, you look more like a Sam.’ ”

Tiger is one amazing man. I hope that his knee won’t keep him out of the game for long. He needs to come back. Golf is his life.
