Mourners have begun arriving at the public wake for late NBC newsman Tim Russert, which is taking place today at St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. Wearing a dark suit and blue tie, President George W. Bush and the first lady have arrived at the high school, where Russert's son Luke graduated in 2004. California First Lady Maria Shriver, NBC Sports Chairman Dick Ebersol and wife Susan Saint James also paid their respects.
The closed-casket service for the former NBC Washington Bureau Chief is expected to last about seven hours. A private funeral is scheduled for tomorrow.
