Britney Spears to Join Pregnant Sis Jamie Lynn in Kentwood

The singer, 26, could stay home for at least a month.

At a hearing in her conservatorship case on Tuesday, a L.A. court commissioner pushed back a July 31 hearing to determine whether her father Jamie should maintain legal control over the singer.

The court commissioner said the singer will be on vacation and won’t be back in time to participate in crucial meetings. (Lawyers will now review matters of evidence in the case at the July 31 hearing.)

At Tuesday’s hearing, the court commissioner also granted Jamie permission to sell the singer’s six-bedroom home in Studio City, California (where she was removed in January and forced into a psychiatric hospital).

Because her father is her co-conservator, the decision to sell the home required a court’s approval.
