Katie Holmes Trumps Mario Lopez and Kicks His Ass Off Broadway

Mario Lopez has been kicked to the curb to make room for Katie Holmes. Currently he is frolicking around the musical theater stage with “A Chorus Line.” That, I should also mention, is about the only job he currently has. To pay Holmes her hefty fees for starring in “All My Sons” the show required the use of the Schoenfeld Theater.

“Musical theaters have more seats than a traditional playhouse, so they can sell more tickets each week,” the source said. “That’s how the show ended up at the Schoenfeld Theater (where “Chorus Line” runs). Because of the “All My Sons” rehearsal schedule, they had to cut Mario Lopez’s run in “A Chorus Line.”

The debut of Katie’s Broadway stint will be September 18th. No word on Mario’s last performance is, but I have a feeling he will have plenty of time to pimp his shiz on the beach very soon.

Ouch. Mario will have to go back to trying to shill his naked ass to Nip/Tuck. It will officially open on October 16 and run through January 11th. Ticket prices will hover around $112 for a matinee. Mario is super pissed about being shoved out the door and left without a job…again. He was recently named People’s Hottest Bachelor. I guess this will effect his status and turn him to Hottest in the Unemployment Line.
