Janet Jackson will be filming a reality show in the coming months before she kicks off her next world tour. The show will be a talent search, featuring Jackson hunting down then next big music star in church choirs and community centres. She is just one of the latest hoard of celebrities who are filming a reality show, from Jennifer Lopez, to Denise Richards and even “Mother of Year” herself, Dina Lohan.
The show’s executive producer Dave Broome talked about Janet’s show and further explained its premise, “It’s really about finding who’s the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher. And we’ll find it from a pool of people who you wouldn’t typically find it from. We’ll go to YMCAs, church groups, local community centres and try to cast the show.”
