Amy Winehouse: No TB! at The Insider

After spending several days in the hospital, rumors abound that troubled songbird Amy Winehouse is fighting a deadly illness.

But her rep tells People that reports of her coughing up blood are false. "She has a chest infection," he tells the mag, adding that "she had a routine test for TB, which came back negative."

The 24-year-old is still being kept under observation while she undergoes more testing. Doctors have yet to determine if she will be able to resume performing in the near future. She is scheduled to perform for Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday celebration in London.

"She would really love to do the show," her rep says. "She always wants to do these things, but she will listen to her doctors."
