Janet Jackson Headed to Reality TV?

"The Insider" has just learned that rumors that Janet Jackson is developing a new reality show for MTV are true!

In the new TV competition, Janet will mentor a group of wannabe singers and dancers. The show will have an edgy new twist on the typical reality show, in that it will be filmed on the street rather than on a soundstage.

And from what we've heard, rumor has it that song and dance hopefuls could even be vying for a spot on Janet's fall tour, which starts on September 10! There's no word yet on when Janet's new program will hit airwaves, but keep checking back here for the latest news as it develops.

  • I CANNOT believe that Janet Jackson has agreed to let cameras follow her around 24/7 because I once heard that when she did interviews to promote her albums, she required that staff NOT LOOK at her.
