While promoting her new film 'The Edge of Love,' in which she appears nude, PEOPLE reports Knightley told reporters "I always bare my breasts ... It's not like it's only in this film!" She said that generally she hates love scenes where the woman is wearing a bra, so for 'Edge,' the decision was "very simple" -- take it off.
It wouldn't be the first time Knightley's gone topless for a role. She bared all in last year's Oscar-nominated period drama 'Atonement,' and also in 2005's 'Domino.'
While nudity is no biggie for her, singing really makes her shake.
"I thought I was going to die," when she found out she had to sing for 'Edge,' she said. "My knees actually started buckling."
