Morning TV's hottest stars got their props at the 35th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards -- and "The Insider" was on the red carpet with the likes of Emmy winner Rachael Ray, Susan Lucci, Giada de Laurentiis, Regis Philbin, and Emmy co-hosts Cameron Mathison and Sherri Shepherd!
Rachael Ray's talk show was declared the most "yum-o" of all at the glam event, held at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre. The bubbly TV host's self-titled program picked up the Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show (Entertainment), leaving Rachael nearly breathless from excitement!
"Holy cat! Thank you so much to our viewers," she exclaimed. "They're so much apart of our programming and ... I really can't breathe! This is really, really exciting."
Rachael's executive producer, Janet Annino, also gave her thanks: "Linda Bell Blue (Entertainment Tonight's executive producer), thank you for teaching me how to be a producer. ... To Rachael, thanks for being my friend!"
As a surprise, "The Insider"'s Victoria Recano presented Rachael with a blanket emblazoned with her photo made by Treasure Knit, which she declared her dog would love!
(Outstanding Talk Show Host) and Other TV divas to collect golden statuettes included Ellen DeGeneresTyra Banks (Outstanding Talk Show, Informative).
The illustrious event -- emceed by "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd and "All My Children" hunk Cameron Mathison -- also saw dramatic victories for "The Young and the Restless"' Jeanne Cooper (Lead Actress, Drama); "General Hospital"'s Anthony Geary (Lead Actor, Drama); and "General Hospital" (Best Dramatic Series).
"Y&R"'s Kristoff St. John won Outstanding Supporting Actor, and "The Guiding Light"'s Gina Tognoni took home the honor for Outstanding Supporting Actress.
Also on the show, late-night funnyman Jimmy Kimmel presented Regis Philbin with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Watch "The Insider" on TV Monday for complete coverage from the awards show.
