Abigail Breslin brings 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl' to the big screen this summer, and "The Insider" was there for her big Hollywood premiere!
"I'm excited to see all the girls and welcome the boys who come too," said Abigail.
Based on the hugely popular American Girl book series, 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl' stars Abigail as a resourceful young girl living during the Great Depression whose bravery, compassion and determination help her solve a mystery that saves her family's home.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith joined little girl Willow, who also stars in the movie, as well as Chris O'Donnell, Joan Cusack, Julia Ormond, Glenne Headly, Jane Krakowski, Wallace Shawn and Stanley Tucci.
The movie opens in select theaters June 20 (for a 10-day exclusive engagement in L.A., New York, Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta) before opening nationwide on July 2.
