"The Insider" has the latest...Britney Spears made headlines when she headed to the small screen for two guest appearances on the CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother," and now those buzzed-about TV stints could very well land her an Emmy!
"The Insider" confirms the pop singer is one of 41 actresses listed on the Emmy ballot recently released by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to its voters. The Emmy nominations will be announced next month. The ceremony takes place Sunday, September 21.
