"The Insider" has confirmed that Larry Birkhead has purchased a house in his hometown of Louisville, KY for himself and his 21-month-old daughter Dannielynn, but Larry says he is not moving right away, as the house needs lots of work.
"It was an investment for us," Larry tells "The Insider." "It is really overwhelming. I have no idea how to finish this house. The previous owner stopped in the middle of construction. It is way more than I bargained for. I might have to call in Oprah's design team or 'Extreme Home Makeover' to help me!"
Earlier, Larry told People that the 10,000-square-foot, six-bedroom home features 40-foot ceilings and is modeled after a Sicilian church, and that he is considering putting his other home on the market in Los Angeles, where he is surrounded by memories of the late Anna Nicole Smith and her late son Daniel.
Larry tells "The Insider," "When I bought the house, I was looking ahead toward the future thinking that Dannielynn would go to school in Kentucky, but that is a few years off. It is also a place where we could be around family and friends."
