GINA GERSHON went on the record Monday on "Live with Regis & Kelly," talking about the Vanity Fair article stating that BILL CLINTON's aides are concerned with the Hollywood gossip that he has been seen visiting with the 'Showgirls' actress.
"It's just a crazy outrageous lie that really has nothing to do with me at the end of the day," she said.
She said that she's met the former president just three times and that although she knows gossip is a part of the fame game, she felt this situation was different. "This disturbed me on so many other levels I felt like I had to stand up for myself and speak the truth."
Vanity Fair released a statement today defending its story and writer saying, "TODD PURDUM's article does not indicate that former president Bill Clinton had an improper relationship with Gina Gershon. The story merely examines the concerns of some of Clinton's aides about reports of his behavior. We don't believe that any correction is warranted."
