  • Wow, I like Jeff Goldblum. He's a good actor, but I don't think he can replace Chris North. Chris North is very good as Nick Logan in Criminal Intent. I love Criminal Intent. He will be greatly miss! Great story. :)

  • I have been watching Chris Noth as Detective Mike Logan on one or the other Law and Orders since their inceptions. I don't seem Jeff Goldblum replacing him, but we will see. Will not stop watching the show because of the change.

p.s. Hey, Jensen69 - It's Mike Logan, not Nick Logan!

  • I love Chris North as Mike Logan on CI I wish he wasnt leaving... but if he is... Maybe they could replace him with Benjamin Bratt and make is partner Alicia Witt that would be a great combination...

  • Chris, YES. Jeff, NO. There goes Law & Order: CI. Like to see Chris go back to Law & Order, but I guess that would be a "demotion" from major case. Liked him and Jerry together. Those were good shows. Don't know where Chris is going but I'll miss seeing him on Law & Order.

  • How about "Mike" Logan, not Nick Logan. He's been great on both Law and Order series, and it's really too bad that he's leaving the show.

  • I like all the "detectives" on all the Law & Order shows and was delighted when Noth returned to Criminal Intent. Of course, Vincent has never been replaced, but Noth gave an interesting performance that played off the the characters in the original cast of Criminal Intent. I will miss him as each of these characters are like friends that have been invited into my home on a regular basis.

  • Yes. It'll be a loss without C. Noth. Maybe they shouldn't include that pair everyother week although I like the actress that plays C. Noth's partner alot. However, I like the other pair best.

  • "You get what you pay for." What in the $@&*!? are they thinking?!?!? GIVE THE MAN MORE MONEY!!! He gives the show some balance, and isn't as weird and burned out as D'Nofrio. GET HIM BACK!!!!

  • Very disappointed that C. Noth is leaving. He and Jerry were the best partners. I can't believe that the powers that be wouldn't honor a pay increase. Oh, well, such is life.

Good luck, Mr. Noth. You will be missed by millions of fans.

  • Chris Noth has always been one of my favorite L&O characters. I'm glad they brought him back and I'm sorry he's decided to leave; I only wonder what he'll do now. To answer your question: Yes, I shall miss Chris Noth; L&O, n o matter which one, hasn't been the same without him (though I LOVE the late-great Jerry Orbach) I know Chris is busy being a dad to his baby boy Orion but he's still eye candy as far as I'm concerned. I'm willing to give Jeff Goldblu a chance; he's always been a decent actor. He was good in the remake of "The Fly" and I liked him in "Nine Months" and in the movie with Forest Whitaker - the name slips my mind. In that film, he played the best friend of a jazz musician who learns he has a malignant, terminal brain cancer. He has the ability to play a New York police officer but NO one can take Chris Noth's place.

  • I really hate to see Mike Logan go!!!!! I was so happy to see him back and now ... What happened? Jeff was great in Raines but the network didn't give him a chance! I look forward to seeing him on tv again but will sorely miss that Chris Noth vibe on Law & Order. He is the best thing that ever happened to Law & Order, next to Jerry Orbach; what a team they made! I am sad to see him go. I just wish I knew why!

D'Onofrio is washed up. Mr. Wolf needs to do everything possible to keep Chris Noth on the show. He brings sex appeal to the show. He is hot, hot , hot.

  • Goren has got to be the smarte4st cop on TV, yet he always messes aboutata crime scene, and no matter how obscure, he can find the elusive clue, not with detective work but with a knowledge of every subject under the sun.I find him OTT and just unbelievable. Logan on the other hand is a truly believable cop charactr, world weary and wise. I would like to see Logan with Green, or with Stabler in SVU.

  • Sorry to see Chris Noth leave the series but casting Jeff Goldblum in this series was a stroke of genius. You people don't get it....ithis show is all about characters. You don't get too much more "character" than Jeff Goldblum. If he bring some of the quirkiness he exhibited in "Raines" to Criminal Intent....it should make for a very mix. No one could be any "quirkier" than D'Onofrio. He's one odd dude. I wonder why he's let himself go the last couple of years. I can handle the excess poundage but that ugly scraggly beard gotta go.

  • Chris Noth is is gone. Deal with it. There has only been one irreplaceable actor in any of the Law and Order shows....and that was Jerry Orbach. (Miss ya Lenny!) The Law and Order family of shows is all about good acting, tight direction and well written scripts. Goldblum is a pro with an oddball personality that will no doubt fit in very nicely. I loved Goldblum in remake of "The Fly" and, except for the dinosaurs, he stole Jurassic Park.

  • I quit watching original when Orbach died. I, apparently along with many, many others, love Chris Noth as Mike Logan and hate that he's leaving. I didn't think last night's "final" episode did him justice as a send-off. Doesn't anyone know why he's leaving? I think Jeff Goldblum will be a good replacement; he's really a good actor.

I really don't think Jeff can is going to ever replace Chris. In fact we probably won't watch it on the nights he is on it. I wish the brass would give Chris the raise and get on with the show.

  • Dick Wolf is pleased to have his shows more plot driven. Perhaps this is a good thing (insures longevity of any series- if costs are kept to a minimum)? That said, Noth was really good.

Tonight's last episode was one of the best.

Maybe he'll return as a guest in a follow/up to this last episode.

  • Yes I will miss him! I have been watching the L&O's (all of the spin-offs too) since they started and Logan was an integral part of the series. He was very good in L&O and even better in L&O CI. Now that he is a new Daddy and lives in New York, I would think he would want steady work instead of movies. Perhaps NBC had a part in his decision. Regardless, NBC lost out. Goren is weird and irritating. Noth carried his role well.

The CI with Goren makes you think. Norths episodes are ok but come off as just another cop show to me most of the time. Besides hard to love a guy who'd willingly star in Sex in City. Blah
