Insider Question: Will You See 'The Dark Knight' Again?

'The Dark Knight' started off on Friday by setting a one-day box office record, taking in $66.4 million its opening day, according to distributor Warner Bros.

The much-anticipated superhero flick then also broke the record for best weekend opening by earning an estimated $155.3 million, beating out 'Spider-Man 3,' which earned $151.1 million during its weekend opening in May 2007.

  • I wonder if you could access a way that fans/ friends of Heath Ledger could send a message to Heath's parents and family. I know Heath died 6 months ago, but with the Dark Knight release and such a spectacular
    job Heath did on the role of the Joker. I know that the attention this film is receiving must stir up some pain and the grieving starts again. Maybe it could lighten their load is they knew people appreciated Heath's talent and work and would like to share their loss with our love and prayers. Sincerely, Amy Sanchez.
