Breaking News: Batman's Marriage Not in Trouble

"The Insider" breaks all-new details about 'Batman' star Christian Bale. Sources close to the couple tell "The Insider" that the rumors that Bale's 8-year-marriage to Sandra 'Sibi' Blazic, seen above with Christian and his mother, is under pressure are untrue. Sources tell "The Insider" that their 8-year long marriage is solid and thriving despite a report in today's London Daily Mail which claims that the alleged fracas with his mother and sister, "apparently comes at a time when his marriage to Sandra 'Sibi' Bale;... is enduring difficulties." The London Daily Mail is reporting the Batman star allegedly "flew into a rage after his mother allegedly insulted his wife."



"The Insider" is also debunking another rumor surrounding Bale. For years, the media has reported that his daughter's name is Emmeline, but Bale's rep now tells "The Insider" that is not true and that Bale has never revealed the name of his daughter.

Meanwhile, sources close to the actor tell the paper Bale allegedly confronted his mother at London's Dorchester hotel after Jenny Bale allegedly said "some outrageous things."

Bale was arrested and released yesterday in London over an assault allegation which he has denied to "The Insider." The London Mail is also reporting a source close to the actor says Bale is confident he has done nothing wrong and "did not lay a finger on anyone."

"The Insider" also confirmed that Bale's wife and daughter are scheduled to travel with him to Tokyo for Monday's premiere of 'The Dark Knight,' which Warner Brothers has confirmed just surpassed the $200 million mark. After the Japanese premiere, Bale will head straight to New Mexico to continue filming his next blockbuster, 'Terminator Salvation,' due to be released in May 2009.

  • This is all highly subjective. I'd like to know what this eyewitness considers an "unwarranted" tirade and if said eyewitness knows enough about the dynamic between Bale and the rest of the T-4 gang to determine whether or not the events directly preceding the explosion were all that caused the outburst. I'm not excusing this unprofessional behavior, but it's hardly newsworthy. I mean, since when is it illegal to be angry? Give the guy a break... the film industry is stressful.

Paparazzi is now the cause of SSSOOOO many wrecks, breakups, etc, and it's really sad how they can spin a story out of nothing. Just because his sister has 3 kids does not mean it's his reponsibility to take care of them. Where are their fathers? Child support? His sis is a gold digger and not setting a very good example.

  • Anyone with half a mind could figure out that it is none of are business!!!   • The media needs to find another story with more substance. Assault in England is the equivalent of a loud verbal argument in the states. He wasn't arrested, he went willingly to the police station for questioning and he was released without charges being pressed. The media needs to get over it and move on to something that has actually happened instead of trying to create something out of nothing.

  • No, stars deserve their privacy just like any other person. Yes, they are famous for their movies and TV shows, concerts etc, however, that does not give you the right to impede their passing through town, shopping, playing with their children and having an argument. The photographers should be curtailed, legally if necessary and have it put to an end. It's harassment, plain and simple. The people who buy the junk papers that show photographs of people chewing or falling are just as dumb as the people who take the pictures. I miss the days when Hollywood magazines had nothing but the stars all dressed up at award shows and classiness. Nothing like that anymore.

  • 1) You people act like the paparazzi are the bad guys, yet you go on encouraging them to do what they do, by buying celebrity magazines, watching TV gossip progams and even reading this column. If there was no market for this stuff, then there would be no paparazzi.

    2) How can you side with either Bale or the other parties involved unless you were there or know the people? Sensibly, you can't.

    3) Being a celebrity isn't an accident; it takes constant effort. It isn't that hard to stay out of the public eye if you want to do so, but most celebrities don't. You can't have it both ways, though---if you want that constant attention, you can't just say it's time to look the other way.

    There is a lot of fame and fortune in pretending to be another person for a living, and that's part of the price.   • Must be very frustating when you feel obligated to help your family and because you are a celebrity and make lots of money they feel they can ask you for exorbinate amounts of money . An actor works hard plus they have to do publicity for whatever vehicle they are working in and then we as the curious people we are feel the need to know 4every detail of their personal lives without knowing the facts. Nobody should live vicariously through another person. In another words I'm with Christian on this one his sister should get help from her childrens' father or make do like the rest of us.

  • I love Christian Bale and have since my children were small and we enjoyed his juvenile roles in Newsies and Swing Kids. Also loved him as Laurie in Little Women, one of my favorite books. I think he has become fragile mentally since his weight loss and gain before and after The Machinist. Gain just a little weight, please, Christian and all will be well.
