Report: Daniel Radcliffe Reveals Brain Disorder

'Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he lives with a brain disorder called dyspraxia, says the New York Daily News.

The condition creates difficulties with hand-to-eye coordination, says the newspaper, adding that Radcliffe told Britain’s Daily Mail that he sometimes fumbles, for instance, with his shoelaces.

"I sometimes think, 'Why, oh why, has Velcro not taken off?'" the NYDN says Radcliffe jokingly told the UK paper.

The NYDN adds that dyspraxia is a life-long disorder that can become more pronounced in times of stress.

  • lol the title seems kinda harsh like hes an invalid or summat. well i was expecting 2 read summat more serious anyways. 1 of my little bros has the same disorder, and yeah he cant play video games 2 save his life or pour himself a drink w/o knocking the cup over, but we still see him as normal.

  • Calm down, guys and fanboys. All dyspraxia means is that, when he's stressed out, he may or may not have trouble TYING HIS SHOES. Not trouble breathing, not liver failure, SHOE-TYING FAILURE. He'll still be Harry Potter, unless he decides to do another attention grab like his newly-revealed "disease" and quit in the middle of filming "The Deathly Hallows part 1". Plus plenty of other people could play Harry Potter, he was just lucky enough to be the nerdy looking kid at the right age when they were casting.
