Prospect Park
Grand Army Plaza
Brooklyn
(718) 965-8999
Some
argue that this is the greatest of the
city parks designed by Frederick Law
Olmstead and Calvert Vaux, the pair who
also designed Central Park. With 526
acres, it remains the centerpiece of
Brooklyn's park system. Among other
things, it includes the Prospect Park
Wildlife Center with its live animal
exhibits geared primarily for children.
