  • When I grew up, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Herman's Hermits, etc., were THE rage --- this is all before music videos. This gives you an idea of how old I am. Because I'm much older thanmany repondents, I really can't relate to today's pop music. So watching MTV's Music Videos would be a total waste of time for me. Oh, I could learn a thing or two but from what I've already seen and heard, I think I'll stick to listening to my LPs (Long Playing records, for those who don't know). Yes, I DO have a CD player but MP3s and Ipods are totally "beyond my paygrade."
