  • i agree, i think they should go back to making the show. i understand sarah jessicas reason for wanting to quit. and admire her for putting her son before her career. but think it would be great to have the show back.

  • Hopefully there will be LESS of SarahJParker in it; and MORE of Kim and Kristin. They have SJP way OVER rated & she got too much screen time. Show us the REAL hotties, who are absolutely superb & interesting actresses!!

  • My thoughts are that the television series was always terrible, the movie was more terrible and made only to make money of the dumb fans, and the sequel will be the worst of all and is being made to wring the dumb fans dry.

    • People like you need to really get a life if you think that a mundane over the hill show like sex in the city is your life. I can't for the life of me understand what people get by devoting their live to fictional characters played by actors who couldn't care less about them.

Please people grow up and get out of your child like crushes by realizing that the real world and life matters infinitely more than any of these stupid shows because the sooner you do realize those things the sooner you will lead a better life.

  • Would so much rather see the old SATC 30 minute shows every week. I still miss them. I notice "anonymous" trashes every poll, (below). Perhaps "anonymous" comments should not be allowed?

  • Love SATC. I watch it on demand all the time. It is the perfect fantasy single life, all a big lie and so what? That's what tv is-this show hits it for singles, for New York wannabes [I lived in Jersey for 18 years], and for the sexually inhibited [the ladies do it for us]. They could release ten SATC movies a year, and I'd go the first weekend and come back the next. movespec

    • You really need a life if and a brain transplant if you would even consider watching another sex and city movie let alone 10 movies.

I wonder what they storyline for these 10 movies would be maybe in one they could search for a missing pair of heels and in another a lost stick of lipstick yeah great lets dumb the masses further.

  • Producers, I really wouldn't mind if SJP left and you replaced her with a really sharp black woman. Think of it. Not a slow-witted Jen Hud character :( or Sapphire-ish one but a single, sexually hip Michelle O. That would open things up.

  • Get a life people who cares if there there is a second movie or not, I for one would not even care if one of the actors died because it does not affect my life in the very least.

Real life matters not some fictional characters played by actors who are over paid to do things a monkey could do.

  • i love satc but enough is enough. honestly, is this all they have to do is call each other and get together for drinks? they are 40's and 50's...at least. like i said, they are great and i loved the first movie but what are they going to come up with this time for big and carrie to break up again??? lol
but i do love it. maybe they will come up with something new!

  • I am an avid fan of SATC, but another movie? Maybe they should go back to doing a few more seasons of the show so we can really see how the adjust to being in their 40s.

  • The only decent sequels that have ever been made are "Aliens", "Godfather II" and "The Empire Strikes Back". The rest are just ways of milking the fans for more money.

  • I loved the show more than the movie. But still, I'd go to see it.
Here are some hilarious bloopers from the tv series:

  • I hate everything about this show. It's immoral and it's shallow. Four women who think they're men and screw any man that moves is not really a good example for our young girls. The myth that women are and should be just like men and F--K any man they want with no consequences is just that - a MYTH. So the sooner this immoral show -- on the same level of immorality as "Friends" -- goes off the air permanently, the better the world will be.

  • I would go and watch the movie, those that are against it and feel the need to comment - are just closet SATC addicts that will go to see it and buy the dvd with added extras... they're just to shy to admit it, because they're all men :D

  • Yeah they should have another movie, Carrie should have triplets and they should chew all her shoes, Big should have an affair with Anthony (Charlottes wedding planner) Harry should Leave for Samantha, Who should then die. Charlotte and steve should get together and Carrie and Miranda can finally come out the closet as lesbians, and Aiden should be the dad of Carries baby. SATC Need some Drama!!!!

  • SLUTS IN THE CITY? VERY GOOD because that's what they are. At least one character has had at least one abortion, all have slept with anything that's alive (and maybe even dead for all I know, considering these bitches did anything and everything to anyone who wanted it) and all are absolute whores. And this is fit fare for television and movies? I don't think so!

  • As the oldest of the four Kim Cattrall is getting a little long in the tooth to be playing the cougar. She's trying hard to age gracefully but there's no getting around her developing that matronly barrel shape. Perhaps her agent can find her a role as a part-time hostess at Porky's Pancake House. With SJP's character getting married at 40 what could possibly be a sequel's next life event, menopause?
