The Bachelor for season 12 was Englishman Matt Grant who proposed to 22-year-old, Shayne Lamas. After filming, the two moved in together but quickly cited differences and Matt moved out. Their engagement ended shortly after and the two had a public dispute about what should happen with the engagement ring.
