The People's Choice Awards, unlike the Oscars, Emmys, or Grammys, are determined solely by the viewing public. Nominees were announced on Nov. 10, 2008, but the star studded red carpet event will take place on Jan. 7, 2009. Queen Latifah is returning as host!

Alicia Keys is nominated for Favorite Female Singer, Favorite R&B Song for "No One" and Favorite Song From A Soundtrack for "Another Way to Die" with Jack White from the new James Bond film Quantum of Solace. Alicia is also nominated for the Favorite Star 35 & Under Award.
