  • Whatever Tom Cruise's religion is, it gives him the opportunity to learn and helping a woman in distress in the past was one good example.

    • Scientology is today's most controversial religion, but through out history there has been many of religions that came under the same amount of fire. Native American's public spiritual practices had the same controversy, so has Islamic faith, Hinduism, Christianity, and many many others. I guess the best place to go find the truth is to find a Scientologist and ask them questions.

  • They all need GOD, there is NOT WAY anyone could explain to me how it makes sense. It seems that once they become famous they lost faith and need to find something to believe it. If you talk a good enough game they will believe in it. The guy was a author for goodness sake, how can he describe the wonderful earth! Who are you praying too? I'll pray for them. GOD is a jealous god and if you keep giving his praises to someone else you will pay, now or later but you will.

    • Karisma, you are an idiot. Why on earth would you comment on something
you haven't even investigated. I googled Scientology last night and did a
little bit of research. Each member is allowed to keep their "religion", they
even believe in a god or creator. Why don't you do some research instead
of being an ignoramous. Nah, forget that; fanatics like you relish ignorance.

    • Hey Karisma, I have to that your belief is a great thing. There are many different religions in the world and I for one follow a Baptist faith, but you must understand that our belief is just that a belief confidence; faith; trust something over all it is an existence of something not immediately susceptible to rigorous proof. Actually Hinduism is generally considered to be the oldest religion still being practiced today.

Now is there a such thing as a right religion and a wrong religion? I think the answer is no but to each there own.

HAHA!!! I guess you have to not be scared to ask a Scientologist. At the end of the day there is no such thing as brainwashing, people make decisions based off their surroundings. Change the environment and the person will change. Just like a job or leaving your job to go on a Hawaii Vacation.

  • As a Scientologist, I am outraged at so much of the media's snide implication that Mr. John Travolta's religion was to blame for Jett's death. The truth is that Scientology provided John the tools to handle his son's spiritual condition through the standard application of LRH tech. Instead, John chose to poison his son with the psych drug Depakote. John, you are an embarrassment to all of Scientology for turning to the pseudoscience of psychiatry. This is the overt that pulled in the tragic end cycle of your son. Please, John, for the love of god, get your ethics in and PLEASE disconnect from the psychs.

They realize Scientology is a cult, blow from it, and usually protest the crimes and abuses perpetrated by Scientology, but so many times lost through its campaigns of misinformation. Many celebrities are too dumb to realize Scientology is a cult and they are too rich for Scientology to ignore.

  • An honest question, no other motives other then curiosity?
What is the basic beliefs of Scientologist? As far as those who have been putting these people down, or telling them they need God well
    1). We all need God
2). Pray for them don't knock them, John Travolta is one who could use prayer for the loss of his son, if we pray for them and then let God speak to their hearts, how can they see God when his own people stand in their way.
    3) People are to be Judged by the fruit they bare, not there Motives, that's God's job as well.
