It isn't a happy or sad thing it's a moral thing, and you can kick and scream rights all you want, it's wrong. It takes a bigger person to stand up for what's morally right. I gotta side with Michael on this one. And I love Lindsay, I think her mother is a little loose in the brain but Lindsay has been in my eye sight since Double Trouble or whatever the name of the movie was. I hope she gets it together.

Sam seems like a very stable and responsible person, who also has a terrific personality and a caring heart. Who wouldn't benifit from being around someone like her? Lindsay is lucky to even know Sam and to have someone like that to love her is a blessing. Kathy

Kathy I feel exactly the same as you do about Samantha. I hope Lindsay realizes just how blessed she is. These comments if true really bother me. But Lindsay has now said that it wasn’t all Sam: “She’s a great person. And she’s a great influence on people around her.“But I think that anything that’s changed in my life is because of me." If not for Samantha Lindsay would be right back to her old ways. I hope Lindsay does nothing to hurt Samantha, if she does then I will not care what happens to her, she will deserve the worst. Joe

Lesbian Jew? The Jewish faith can't recognize their relationship, and even if she wanted to be converted to Judaism it's for all the WRONG reasons. It's disappointing to say that this would be better for a heterosexual couple, but because this is a monotheistic religion, that's how it always is. Lindsay needs a few more YEARS in rehab... I'm siding with her father.

"great healthy relationship"??? If this were a hetro couple and the cops were called because neighbors could hear them fighting (assume yelling, or breaking things) then hear a window get broken, one or both of them would be getting yelled at by Dr. Phil and Barbara Walters tomorrow.
Just because they are gay why are they getting a free pass? Its a volatile relationship that needs to be out of the limelight (by nature actors need to be the center of attention or they are out of work actors and buzz counts) and needs professional help -
Lindsay Lohan is out of her mind. Is she so lack of suitors that she is so desperate till she ends up a lesbian? I think that she has hurts in her life due to her family divorce as well as her past relationships. She is definitely going into the wrong direction by being with Samantha! And as Lindsay's mother, how can she support this crazy lesbian relationship? It's absurd, irrational n weird!

Lindsay Lohan is a pretty actress who has potential. But the problem is, she doesn't know her true value. Why do I say so? Becos if a person knows that she is valued, she wouldn't mess up her life with drugs, alcohol and involve in lesbian relationship! She will have self-respect and is a responsible person. I really hope she will get rid of Samantha Ronson in her life, coz this lesbian relationship is eating away her youth and life. Hope someone knocks some sense in her......

I was happy for Lindsay. I have always wished her nothing but the best and if being with Samantha made her happy then that's great. In my heart though, I always knew that it wouldn't last. I just hope that Lindsay can come out the other side of this saddness with one of her beautiful smiles.

Looking at the comments, two thirds side with Dina and a third with Lindsay's dad. This is probably a true representation of tolerance towards an "alternative" lifestyle in the US. I am 100% behind Dina. I can't abide those who refer to God, Allah etc to justify their moral values.
