I gave her a shot, but on the recent televised show honoring our troops, her performance was on the level of a stripper rather than an entertainer. Country she is not. She's got so much going for her, but this whiny, all about me attitude that she' got has got to go! Her "torment" is miniscule compared to what most of us endure, and to hear her talk about her problems and the pain she has suffered leaves me cold. PLEASE!

I think that Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, & Julianna Hough are all great (Taylor's my fav!) BUT JESSICA SIMPSON IS SO NOT COUNTRY!! She should have stayed w/pop! I didn't evevn like her then, but to go out and act all country! LAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMEEEEEEE!!!!!!

If you think that Julianne Hough is real and down to earth, then you haven't heard her interviews. She is so full of herself. This "sweet and innocent" girl is anything but. She has told so many lies that even she can't keep track. Her voice is marginal at best. She should really stick to dancing and quit acting like she's been a country singer all her life.

I love all these stars, but I have followed Carrie Underwood since she came on the scene of American Idol. I spent the entire voting time for her to win AI using two phones the entire time and had to go to work the next morning and be there by 8 a.m. I would do it all over again because she is so deserving. Her talent amazes me! And, she is just so "eye" pleasing. To me, she's beautiful and I know her family is so proud--and, she and she always thanks God, and that's a definite plus!

There is no match for Carrie right now, she is in a league of her own, with a voice of an angel. America made a good choice when picking her, she has changed the face of country music and brought it back to life.

This is an easy one for me. Jessica shouldn't even be in the poll. Although all the ladies have their individual talents, I think Carrie is the total package. She is a great vocalist, a great person - humble and sincere, plus she's bright and classy. Taylor is a good song writer - she's a good story teller and seems like a nice girl, but her voice does nothing for me. Julianne is a very talented and has a nice voice, but I don't know how committed she is to Country music. She seems to be more into acting and dancing.

Carrie Underwood is the best! Taylor swift can't sing her way out of a paper bag. Jessica Simpson has an IQ of about 60...and Julianne is a GREAT dancer but doesn't compare to Carrie vocally.
