Letterman must have a hard time containing that GOOFY grin of his, anticpating the, by default,increase of viewers he will get, when the audience switchs channels from NBC. Nobody will watch Conan on The Tonight Show!!! Nobody!!!!!!

This pole is obviously askew, everyone knows Letterman is funnier than Leno. Leno is so soft on his guests, he never pushes on the hard topics and he isn't that funny either.

How can they even think Conan O'Brien can even come close to Jay Leno or David Letterman even though I don't really like David Letterman. But even David is better than Conan O'Brien. Conan is so completely ridiculous! I think David Letterman's show will become number one by default.

Conan O'Brien is the smartest host in late-night television. His self-depreciative comedy styles have put him on the map. At the beginning of his on Late Night, he was expected to be worse than Letterman, but he proved everyone wrong. it truly is and always will be Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Although Letterman was the host first, Conan was the one to *really* make it famous!

I try to stay up to watch the late night shows, but I miss them most of the time. When I do get to see the shows, they are really entertaining and funny, especially, David Letterman.

Are you guys serious? Leno, Letterman, Conan and Ferguson each have their different styles. Besides, since when did we start comparing Leno to the rest of late night? Shouldn't we compare the late night host to Johnny Carson? I wish Conan the best and will give him an honest chance. I hope the rest of you do the same.

Jay is a very slick and capable comedian, Conan is not, and has nothing but his stupid grin to offer to the Tonight Show. Jay will probably retire, because the Tonight Show was the best medium for him, and Conan will be subjected much shame, because he has no real talent - and Andy? - God Forbid!!!!!!!!!!! I feel sorry for Kevan Eubanks, he's the real loser in this. I'm not trying to hold on to the past here, but the future could be much brighter for Late Night TV if the Execs would get off their duff and think about what it is they're doing instead of trying to manipulate a popularity contest - honestly, I don't think the big bosses would know real talent - maybe they should have an America's Got Humor Contest - Crap, I hope they don't read this and go - Hey! Good Idea - what a bunch of nobodys home up at NBC.

I can't wait for Jay to come back on even at 10pm. I had hoped that Conan would try to step up to the plate, but so far it's the same old slapdash garbage. Now I change the to the HGTV at 1130, even reruns on there are better than Conan the clown.

I too feel for kevin and John but I believe that Jay will return to the Tonight Show when the rating tank. One poster on another site made the analogy of the failure of the New Coke which caused them to bring back Classic Coke and then finally put a nail in New Coke. Also watching David is painful but not as bad as watching Conan. I heard that ABC was considering moving Jimmy Kimmel up to 11:30pm. I like Jimmy Kimmel and I would watch him in this time slot.

All late night will be compared to Leno because he was/is the late night king. The same was done with Carson because he was on top.

My husband & myself miss the Jay Leno show! The reason we didn't watch it last Friday was because of Conan being on. Cannot stand watching that guy or hearing his voice.

Jay Leno is the best. I'll miss him, but i'm glad he's coming back in the fall. Conan is not funny. He's weird and crazy. It's like he doesn't know the difference between crazy/stupid and funny. But it's really based on opinion.

Letterman is a boring old man and Conan is funny but only if you're an obnoxious 16 year old. Without Leno the Tonight Show will never be the same. Truly don't know what the execs over at NBC were thinking when they decided on doing this. I have quit watching late night tv altogether because of this.

We are very disappointed in Conan O'Brien. We miss Jay Leno a lot. The whole change was a big mistake, and will prove so in time.

Letterman has got them both beat, but Leno is in a close second. Maybe it's Dave's 'Top 10' that just gave his show the edge over Jay, but he is definitely the man to top right now. Conan, you're in an uphill battle my friend.

Jay Leno IS the BEST! The Tonight Show has a long history of the being the greatest Late Night Show. It has become a standard for the other shows to follow and was such a joy to watch -- through the years -- for the American public before going to sleep. Now that they have put Conan on it that slot, guess we can all get more sleep!!! Conan is like the high school jokster -- who never grew up. He is insulting and inappropriate. What he seems to think of as funny are juvenile behavior antics that should not be televised. NBC has totally ruined that time slot and hopefully they will correct their decision SOON. Get the jerk off the air as soon as possible and find someone who can carry that hour!

David letterman should be on earlier for he's real funny and have great guest like Johnny Depp , and some times Davids jokes are so corney they are really down to earth and funny I have been watching David since his very first show, and he was kinda shy, yet he covers it up and roll with the punches, I just think he is a great host,and back than had to compete with the BEST Johnny Carson, that was hard to faller, for Johnny was the King of talk shows, and would make you laugh till you cryed. I loved Johnny Carson, and when David Letterman came out he wasn't know yet he's pulled it off and held on this long, I'm very proud of Mr.Letterman, even when he hardly had very few guest, are not real great ones Like Mr Carson, and I think he's doing great.
