and you're way too ignorant. if you had any sense of what pretentious is you would know that johnny depp is a completely selfless and modest person. the roles he takes are purely out of interest or appreciation - i don't think he has ever taken up any casting for money or popularity. if you call being independant and not following the hollywood crowd pretentious then maybe he is. the work he does if purely for his love of the profession and the enjoyment it brings to his daughter lily-rose. johnny depp is one of a kind. the loss is all yours for not seeing that.

Hi - no, I do not think he is anywhere near the most sexiest man alive. As a matter of fact his movies really annoy me most of the time simply b/c they are publicized way too much. Also, being from Canada - I remember seeing him in a tv series called 21 jump street - filmed in the the city in which I live - when I think of him, I seem to be unable to let go of remembering him in his circa 80s outfits and hairdos (just can't shake it from my head) - Also, I feel kind of slighted b/c of the fact that he seems to have denied where he has come from - Canada - I heard he lives in Paris now with his wife - I guess he feels he's grown too sophisticated to remember his roots..but on top of all of this - he's small and additionally, moreover - I do not find him attractive now and never have in the past - too damn scrawny for me.....
