I thought it looked dumb before I read the books but I read them anyway and they are four of the best books I have ever read. The movie is good but it's not as good as the books. So you can't judge on what it looks like without even seeing/watching it.

I love Twilight! But, I think Kristen Stewart ruined the movie. She's a horrible actress and was the worst casted character! Not to mention she's rude and smokes pot when half of her fans are teens. The best thing they could do for New Moon is replace Bella instead of Jacob!!

yuo got to admit twilight was good for a movie.. the book was definetly better. but for a movie it was good people have to understand that u cant have everything that was on the book. if they did it would have been too long and then it would have suck and bored people off the room. so it was a pretty decent movie i love it. but i felt that the other characters besides bella and edward didnt speak much. they do need some mored ialoge

i was cool when it came out but jesus people, why are we all still vegetating away infront of the computer to some ridiculous actors and a movie that practically killed the book.
the book was top notch. i watched the movie 3 times and i still cant seem to find a reason for all this drama, the first time i went to watch it i went gold class because i knew all the girls would be screaming and driving me crazy, and even the first time i felt i was going to cry. Kristen cant act to save a life!

You have to read the book, before watching the film....to me the film didn't make as much sense and there was a lot left out that made the bond between bella and edward what it is. I hope Chris does a better job on New moon, Twilight was fab but the books are so much better!

I completely agree 150% I loved the books but when I went to go see the movie I was very disappointed. It was very mediocre and I believe that they could have did alot more with it and I hope that this new director does a way better job. They added stuff that shouldn't have been there and then took out stuff that should have been in the movie like talking about the Volturi I believe that at least should have been mentioned because they are a huge part of the rest of the books.

Ok, so it took me this long to read the first book and see the movie and I have to say I was very disappointed in the movie! I guess when you read the book...which I thought was excellent and couldn't wait to finish to see the movie...then watching the movie I couldn't wait for it to be over! I was thoroughly disappointed. Too many changes, not impressed with Kristen Stewart's acting; I found the chemistry between Bella and Edward weird, and I guess just missing a lot of great parts of the book. Hopefully with the new movie they can bring back what I found so intruiging in these book!

whilst i loved the first film, i think that all the raw emotion and difficulties with bella's and edward's relationship wasn't properly captured,there just wasn't the same sense of love you felt readin the series, but still i have such major love for the film and hope that new moon will have just as bigger affect on the way people see love.

Twilight fever will live on forever just like the character Edward. The chemistry and love of characters Edward & Bella is epic, even more so than Romeo & Juliet....which I am a huge fan of also. But the Twilight Saga is number 1 with myself & many other true twilighters in the world.

If you are educated enough to be able to read the book series, then you would understand the big deal the fans have made over this "franchise". It is an amazingly well written saga and the emotional expression in the stories are amazing. The movie(s) can only touch on so much. So grow up and quit bashing a movie simply because you can't read well enough to pick up a book.....enough said.

Okay so I have to say that I used to think all the hype was dumb as well. I was dragged by my sister to watch the movie. After that she started telling me about the rest of the story line that happens in the other books so I started reading my heart out....NOW....I LOVE IT!! In my opinion if you are new to the world of The Twilight Saga...see the movie first, that way when you read you can visualize all the characters. Thats how I did it and I personally think that I enjoyed the books better. Happy Twilighting all!! I

I agree...I saw Twilight, the movie, first then bought all the books and between a Thursday-Tuesday, read them all! I suppose some will think it dumb, but love stories are never dumb...at least to, in my estimation, 99.9% of females. At 17, it represents possibilities, excitement and adventure...in the 20's-30's, a reminder of the young years or possibly still what might be...30's-40's plus--flashbacks of oh so many memories of young love!! Guys, this is quite simply a sweet, endearing love story which has touched many in many ways. Enjoy it for what it really is.

I'm 30 and I just watched twilight for the 4th time last night and let my 8.5 yr old watch it she loved it! We bought the hardbook set tonight can't wait to read it! Just so mad that Rachelle (plays VICTORIA) is being replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard for the ECLIPSE movie because of her in another movie they won't let her over lap her movie and ECLIPSE WHY REPLACE A FACE!

Am just glad that they are bringing out these movies out so fast. The faster they come out the faster this whole thing ends. And yes i did read read and have seen the movie and yes i disliked both. More so the movie than the book. Like everyone says people are entitled to their own opinion so i dont see why people that say they didnt like it get bashed and vise versa. So yeah i can go into detail why they were a catastrophe but dont want to take up to much space..

I can't wait to go see it. I have been hooked every since I read the books and I am 44 years old. I have had tickets for about 3 weeks now. There are several of us girls going to go see it. I wish that there really was a man out there that made you feel like Edward does just by reading the book.
