I would love to look like her. The press is really ridiculous and no wonder there is an epidemic of eating disorders for young girls. The average woman in the U.S. is a size 14 -- NOT A ZERO! When she was in her Daisy Dukes, she was working hours for hours a day and not eating to get to that weight. Lay off her already...see more

I do think she still looks great but we all know Jessica as being the smaller size. Maybe she was just wearing the wrong thing on the day these pic were taken. She's in the limelight all the time and she has obviously quit something (work outs) or has started something (not eating right). If she eats dishes like the one she made on "Rachael" all the time, then she will definatly continue to gain weight. And since she's dating Romo, I'm sure she keeps up with him!

Jess is FAR from fat. Thin is not in, HEALTHY is in. I hope you dont have any daughters cause with a parent with your opinion your child would end up with an eating disorder or a horrible view of what fat is not

I had the pleasure of meeting Jess, years ago at Massey Hall in Toronto. My sister and i have met a lot of star's over the year's, Jess is by far one the nicest people i have ever met! No matter how much weight she gain's it'll never change who she is!

I don't watch the Insider often because I usually don't get home from work in time. I was so disappointed at the amount of time that was spend on Jessica Simpson and her "weight gain." It is mindless coverage and I found myself increasingly irritated with how shallow the show's coverage was. I hope the show changes this type of coverage. Thank you for your consideration.

A few nights ago the Insider/Entertainment Tonight inadvertently showed images and said "curves" the next days she's called FAT! I'm so diappointed a person who is a size 8 is not FAT!

Since when is a roll (or many) considered a "curve"? More like a "U-turn" to me. And though eating disorders are caused by control issues, getting fat is caused by lack of control. Wanna lose weight? Just don't eat for a day or two...it's not hard to do. And why is everyone running to her defense? When she WAS thin, she was showing off her body all the time for attention. Now she's complaining and making excuses...can't have it both ways.

Since most of you Americans are over weight, and more than half of that number are obese, of course you're not going to mind the weight gain. At what point do you stop gaining the weight, why even start down that road to begin with? No I don't think a size 8 is overweight for a woman with an average height of 5'5" to 5'10"..but at 5'2.5" a size 2 to 4 would be ideal, HEALTHY...see more

Despite the fact that the average American is a size 14, this should NOT be the norm. This is why American's are the most obese country in the world; we all think a size 14 is okay, but it's not (health-wise). I'm not saying Jessica looks awful, but she still might be considered overweight for her height. If she is 5'4", her ideal body weight is 120#+/- 10%, and she might be more than that now. It is ridiculous, but we all need to start looking at our size 8+ selves, and say...is this really healthy for me? And will my I live longer if I am this size? B/c the answer probably is "No."

She has gained quite a bit of weight. In show business, it will hurt her career. If she was in any other field, it wouldn't be a problem. If she has gained this much weight while in her 20s, it does not bode well for her metabolism. She will probably end up fighting the weight for her entire life.
