I think it's ridiculious how Jessica alone gaining weight is set as a political issue that everyone needs to discuss it. What is so important about her gaining weight that we all need to know about it? Absolutely nothing. Jessica isn't the only one gaining weight because there are lots of other people famous or not gaining weight too. Remember that weight gaining is normal and happening to anyone anywhere. Give her a break she is only hmannot a barbie doll.

Jessica, you are a beautiful young woman. I cannot imagine how much pressure actors and others in the entertainment industry - but screw the press who are commenting on your weight - they are jealous, and small-minded, the ones that have.

When I was young, I lost a lot of weight and because of this type of pressure, I began to have problems with anorexia. Even though I was thin and people were telling me not to lose anymore weight, when I looked into the mirror I felt and saw fat. Those responsible for putting this pressure on young women, are responsible for those who do end up anorexic.

I honestly think it's crazy that they are giving her SO much attention. I honestly think, before she gained this weight, she used her body as nothing but TRASH...she dressed trashy...flashing her boobs everywhere she went. It's ridiculous, wearing shorts to almost show her rear...it's insane but hey if tony romo likes that then I feel sorry for him. She is nothing but trash..i'm sorry. She does NOT live in the real world. She has NO idea what it is like to actually have to "work" to earn money. She is living the life of "fame" she is not in th ereal world and I dare someone to tell me differently.

She is so far from what YOU consider trash. She, like MANY other stars dress a bit racey ( think Pam Anderson, Cher, back in the day, Beyoncee thrusting her hips in a leotard, etc.) Trashy is Amy Winehouse.
Her world is real, just different then yours and if you dont think being an artist is work you are nutty. I have never seen her flash her chest.

People should care more about all the children in the USA who go to bed hungry every night, may be homeless or living in shelters, don't have decent clothes/shoes to wear ro school,or their parents who have lost their jobs and homes due to the economy. Hello wake up AMERICA!

Although I am not a Jessica Simpson fan, i do think she is a beautiful young woman. The scrutiny she has been put under due to the few pounds she has gained is shameful. And we wonder why so many young girls of this generation are battling eating disorders.

Jessica is a beautiful woman who could look good model thin or more of average weight. Hollywood has spawned too many anorexics as role models, and the youth of today need healthier looking role models. seriously, the media should just leave jessica alone. why does it matter? who cares? she's beautiful. think of the message that is being sent to young women everywhere: if you gain a couple of pounds then you're fat. another issue with weight is that women can't lose weight without being critized either! if women lose too much weight its also seen as a problem. where exactly do we draw the line? what specific weight are we allowed to be?

Jessica is overweight but not obese. she still looks good but I agree that she would look better if she lost about ten pounds or so. She is about 5 foot three and her weight is about 140 and size 10.

This country has obsessed over this stupid, vapid woman for years; her weight gain and loss is just the latest incarnation. This woman has a modicum of talent and she is pretty but she has the brains of an ameba (sh'es improved) and she doesn't even use that much of what she possesses despite her IQ scores - at least not her intellectual assets.
We have an economy that's on the verge of a worldwide collapse, we have a president that thinks baby-killing is a right and who thinks snubbing the British Prime Minister by giving him old DVDs is "cool" and yet we're (including yours truly...) wasting our time talking about this "chicken of the sea"? We've GOT to get a LIFE! I don't care if this woman gains 500 lbs. or loses it; let's move on ... and not to the other stupid, vapid woman in the news these days, namely, the so-called Octo-Mom. She is a celebrity, she makes millions of dollars. People don't want her to be "real" , they want the ideal, a picture of what they'll never be.
