Oh please everyone shut up.. If you had the same amount of money as this couple you would spend it on anything you wanted.. So what if he spent it a painting, he loves art, and works hard to get what he wants.. Look at the millions this couple give to the world.. GO HARD BRANGELINA.. LOVE YOUS.

Doesn't make it right to waste money flamboyantly like that. You can argue how art is priceless and all, but 1 - Doubt they appreciate art - or as much as people who say they'd kill to own that. (maybe they made some artist's day though - hooray!)
2 - Also, poor people. Wasting and hoarding siz carzy when people need monies. Buying a painting isn't contributing to the betterment of society, and one of those pro-capitalism philosophers were talking about rich people's obligation to help society out I think.
For the most part I don't have an opinion on this (anymore, right now).

That is ridiculous. I can honestly say that no matter how much money I had I would not spend that much on a painting. In a world like this I can think of far better things to spend 100 mil on...see more
