this poll is a phony. i tried 5 times to select NO to this survey and ERROR- kept appearing and my vote did not count. so, i checked YES- (to see what would happen) and the vote was accepted. i believe the insider is stuffing the ballot box to go the way they want the results to be. what a joke.

In all the months I've watched Kate, I haven't seen much Christ-like behavior. There's no excuse for Jon to have affairs. But, I certainly do not approve of her physical and verbal abusive behaviors either. She's a sinner, too...like us all!!

All of these polls regarding Jon and Kate are phoney. All one sided towards Jon. I tried to select NO it would not process my vote. I selected YES, and what do you know...it processed. Just like last week when the poll was 'do you think Kate should forgive Jon"...I selected NO and it said that 89 % said no, but not even a minute later, the show said it was an overwhelming YES.......I guess it is obvious-Jon will give them whatthey want, so they will give Jon what he wants

She is not cracking now, she has always been this way. She had a hard time dealing with 8 children and felt it necessary to be overbearing and demasculating to her husband. Poor thing is crying now because he could not stand it any longer (about time he woke up). Watch them for ages and felt he should have told her to hush thousands of times. Why is everyone so obsessed with this? Don't we all have more to worry about. There are wars and nuclear weapon threats out there!!!!

I too was unable to vote NO. Insider for some reason, maybe because they were in Jon's court, won't let us vote NO. Insider should be embarrased for allowing Jon to use them to try to lie about being a thief and no good father.

I'm just not sure that any of us can pass judgement on how this couple got here. What would any of us had done in that position - 8 children, no money and a chance to make some and still be with your children plus a bonus of a documentary to capture it.

Kate is a control freak and always has been. I have watched the episodes from the start and when I listen to the undertone in all her comments, she always put Jon down as someone beneath her.
If I were Jon, I would have left her a long time ago. She made the decision to have one more child. She railroaded him into it and now its backfiring. I grew up in a family of 8 Kids and I know how hard it is . My mother was a whole lot more involved and less critical than Kate has ever been and I am so glad I grew up as a half-way normal person.
I just wish she would get off her high horse.

I really like your show, but I HATE watching this battle between Jon and Kate..... I think it is sad.... let me roll you 20 years ahead. My ex left our home more or less unannounced knowing he had someone on the side lines. Now after he remarried, had two more kids, ended up being verbally, mentally, and physically abused by his newer ex wife, that continues to play.. " I am the wife!" he told me that he did not want to return to his home, he did not want to deal with the unkindness, meanness, and viciousness of his new mind, and now as a result he died well before his time.
I wonder if these two REALLY understand what they are doing???? and my guess is that the judge was intelligent and gave these two an education today, and neither one of these two won.
I am not very fond of Jon... I think he is very egotistical... I think he needs to get a psychologist to deal with JON's behavior... I dont see Kate...

Star said that these kids are being abused. I wouldn't go that far but they ARE being EXPLOITED and it's the media's facination and relentless pursuit of getting the gossip on this family that is causing the exploitation to exist. This started as a documentary series on TLC and I'm sure that neither Kate nor John could've ever dreamed that things would get this out of hand. If the media or anyone, for that matter, is concerned about the welfare of these kids then leave them alone! Divorce is hard enough on kids without the whole process and and every move each parent makes being relentlessly splashed on the news. Who really cares about Jon and Kate's personal life anyway? It's the kids who are suffering.

Both are to blame and the children always seem to get in the line of fire.
Recommendations: Take away the children and place them with loving people until both parents focus on the true issue which seems to escaped their selfish money superficial lifestyles instead of what matters in the family which is the children. I think she's always been an abusive person. I felt Jon was better with the kids, FROM DAY ONE, and I USED to watch (from day one.) I also feel close to certain that she & "steve" were foolin' around, BUT she unlike Jon kept it under wraps. A mistake that Jon did make; going out IN PUBLIC with his female friends before his divorce is final.
I TOTALLY agree with him putting a stop to the kids being on TV. They both can make money now without USING their kids. Those kids think they are something special (which they are, but no more than any other kid) and living up to all this later in life will be impossible and BAD for the self esteem. -

For a guy who was tired of being in the public eye, he has gone to rather ridiculous lengths to assure he's splattered all over the press. He is immature, and going through midlife crisis. He helped to conceive all those children, and he should have stayed around to help raise them. People are too hard on Kate. What would you do if you had all thiose kids, and an idiot for a husband??

How would you feel if you were in the middle of a nasty divorce and your husband was making the rounds of all the talk shows putting it out there and how much he hates Kate. Now he wants to stop the TLC show after his name was taking off. But it ok for him to allow ET to film the twins. He is one those guys that can't keep his pants zipped. He sure ejoyed all his perks and toys.

Anyone who would continue the parade of a family falling apart and think it is acceptable and OK for their children and everyone to witness for their own personal gain is not fit to be a parent. These two idiots deserve each other and the children need to go live with Beth or Jodi/Kevin. They have BOTH lost sight of what is importment because of what they stand to gain financially. Many families with more children than theirs make with much less. These two greedy pigs deserve anything negative that is said about them however, the innocent one's that have no say will suffer the most in the end. I see years of therapy!!!!

I agree. She would not have had a book to write about, nor a show, church offerings, and freebies w/o the help of Jon. He is afterall the sperm donor. Plus... he was the one who quit working so that he could be with the kids while she was off collecting donations, etc. If you have ever watched the show she herself says that Jon used to be OK but became uncomfortable with going to church begging for offerings (maybe because he felt guilty taking $ when he knew they didn't need it?). For me I'm on Team Kids... I have watched the show before any of this happened and could not understand how she could treat Jon the way she did. Definately spousal abuse. Now that she can't control him anymore she is going to cripple him any way she can.... because it's Kates way or no way! Knowing that they are in the spotlight how can she think that any of this legal crap isn't going to affect her kids. They are going to grow up with a guilty conscience knowing that because of them (multiples) their parents went through all that they are.

I don't think she's "cracking', I think she's FINALLY seeing where her actions have brought her. I think even going through the old clips on her show as it closes out she can see how badly she treated him and that any man would have left that abuse. I think now she REALLY see's how good she had it all the way around, and if she'd only counted her blessings more instead of thinking she's above everyone then perhaps she'd still have it all.
