He treated her with disdain from even before they were married. He always acted like Kate was just not smart enough for him. He thinks he is such a smart guy. He is a mean, spiteful, vengeful dope. He always treated Kate like she was not good enough for him because of her stomach being so out of shape - so when offered a free tummy tuck, she does it - for him more than just for her. He wanted to fly to Utah with those kids as young as 3 and 6 - she did it for him; he wanted to snow board all day. And there is a lot more if you actually watched that show and his behavior. Nope, Jon was the emotional abuser to Kate long before Kate started fighting back the only way she knew how, give him as good as she was getting from him. THEN he cried abuse. JOn is just a p _ _ s head. And he doesn't deserve those kids or Kate. I guess he deserves Hailey cause she is pretty much a wild child from the reports and that is how Jon wants to live.

Wow, someone who was paying attention and saw Jon's passive aggressive, and possibly negativistic behavior! There's only so much of it that you can take before you react. Kate reacted badly, but no doubt about it, she was reacting to Jon's behavior. He has been showing a pattern of behavior, including what we (as a minority) noticed on TV, what was reported from all of his women but the teacher (D. Hummel?), playing the victim, the compulsive or (as Kate mentioned) pathological lying, and so on. Even the epiphanies, the search for a higher truth, the flip flopping, etc...it is all part of a pattern, and hopefully he is seeing a psychiatrist to actually treat him, not just seeking therapy from the Rabbi.

I used to send Kate emails telling her to stop or Jon was going to leave her. I would like to mention something a little old but very unfair to Jon. Jon is a confused, very passive-aggressive man. He should leave Hailey alone to enjoy her 20s. Jon needs counselling, from Rabbi Shuley, Dr Phil, or Harville Hendrix.
