Joe Jonas On Love And His Solo Album

Joe Jonas sat down with ET Canada recently to talk about his upcoming debut solo album, the future of the Jonas Bros. and working with Chris Brown on one of his new songs.

Speaking about working separate from his brothers for the first time, Joe said "This solo thing kind of looked interesting to me and I kind of brought it up to them as like 'You know what guys, if you're cool with it and the time is right, what do you think?' And they were so up for it, so for the past year I've been recording"

When asked about working with singer Chris Brown, Joe said that Brown's past scandals were never brought up during the recording sessions. "For me and Chris we just focused on music," Jonas said. "Honestly we just got in the studio, and he's such a talented musician and I've always loved his music."

On talking about his love life Joe says that there is someone very close to his heart: his dog. "My dog is one of my best friends and he's awesome," but as for his relationship status, Joe says he's keeping it single. "I'm single right now. I'm just enjoying this amazing ride I get to be on and get to see these beautiful cities and travel and meet the fans."

Despite the fact that the Jonas Brothers have decided to work on separate projects at the moment, Joe says that their band will make a return to recording and performing music one day. "It might be six months, it might be 3 or 4 years. I'm just kinda going with the ride and definitely gonna be going back on tour an making more music with my brothers."
