Watch Liam McIntyre Get 'Spartacus' Ready
When Liam McIntyre won the role of Spartacus for the third Starz series, producers gave him one directive: "They said, 'If you want this role, you're going to have to harden up," according to the actor.
And now the high-intensity workout the entire cast endured daily has been captured by Men's Health in a new video.
The non-stop workout was designed as a group effort to create a team spirit, according to stunt coordinator Josh Randall -- who is partly to thank for the eye-popping action sequences the Spartacus franchise has become synonymous with.
And with Spartacus: Vengeance set to launch later this month, Starz has released a teaser trailer that flaunts the bodies everyone worked so hard for. Check it out!
